It is Big Sis' birthday today! She is very old. Just kidding! I'm just jealous because everyone thinks I'm the older one. I like to think it's because of my mature demeanour and aura of wisdom, not because I look high mileage, lol.
None of us have much money to celebrate, but I have put together some pennies to get her a present. I think she will like it. I gave her a big hug this morning, partly on behalf of BFTP at his request, and hoped that this would distract her enough that she wouldn't notice I had forgotten to buy her a card on the way home yesterday. I blame my appetite's vengeful return and the consequent detour in search of chips. Hopefully, a card this evening and the present (which I have already warned may not arrive today - mail order and especially eBay is not always that reliable) will make up for my shocking oversight.
Happy Birthday Big Sis!!! I hope that the coming year is an eventful, blessed, productive and joyful one for you.
