End Of The Paper Trail

OK, step one of improving my home environment: reducing paper waste, especially the kind that has personal details on that require secure disposal (i.e. shredding). I’ve gone paper-free for my bank statements (x3), credit card statements (x2) and phone bill. I have two other monthly bill accounts I need to change, but one of them won’t give me the option online for some reason and the other I still need to find out about because I can’t log in to my account online. It took me seconds and is such a small change to make, but will make a relatively big difference to things. I virtually never read the paper statements anyway because I check my accounts online, and so I usually leave them until there are loads to open and file, which takes ages and gives me an extra task on my perpetual to-do list that is completely unnecessary. Not to mention the fact that I have to file all such statements, which takes up storage space in my room that I could use much more efficiently.

One more teeny baby step, towards domestic nirvana.
