I should have learnt from the
incident with the scissors. But I'll admit, I was being a bit harsh on my Mum's hairdressing skills. I never usually like my hair when it's just been cut or curled. I need a few days or a week or so for it to calm down and me to get used to it and then I usually love it. In addition to the scissors, my Mum also has curlers. Danger! So she permed my hair for me, as she has done several times before now. I much prefer having curly-ish hair to my usual 'straight with an annoying obstinate kink' locks. I am also fantastically lazy and can think of a thousand more exciting things to do than spend time styling my hair in the morning (namely sleep), which is what I'd have to do to get my hair how I like it, if my hair was au naturel. Since I much prefer having hair that I can just wash and leave be, curling it works for me. So I am not complaining. I asked my Mum to do my hair and she willingly obliged, even though it takes ages and she doesn't even request payment for it. My Mum has skills. But until the curls have calmed down and it has grown out just a tiny bit, the truth is that I look a bit like
Kate Humble.

Only with much darker hair. And a bit more beige, obviously. This is not such a bad thing I suppose. Maybe this would be more accurate:

The crazy bush woman look is back, baby.

That is okay...I am kinda looking like Buster Brown myself. :)
I had to look up Buster Brown. Phew, I'm glad it's not just me! :o) Your hair looks very cute in your profile pic though. I love curls!
