A thousand steps...

I've had a thought in my mind a lot, since I found it last week in a little book we have at home, but I've never read:

"Even if you take a thousand steps from God, you only have to turn around and take one step back towards Him, because He has followed you all the way."

David Marshall, God's Little Book of Encouragement

I'm hoping I never take that many steps away, but I'm thankful for the reassurance that He is there even if I do.
