Looking…with alarm at the six big bin bags I have filled with clothes I no longer want/need and knowing that even with those gone, I still have a wardrobe full of clothes. Yikes.
Feeling…fairly pleased with my (delayed) Spring cleaning progress so far. I have to get finished!
Eating…toast and blackcurrant jam and yesterday's vegetable stew with brown rice.
Drinking…tea and Vimto. Again. I am being a bit of a tea belly at the moment. Not so good.
Being…rather ruthless about the things I want to get rid of. I need to downsize, rather considerably!
Having…quite an enjoyable day, actually. I know, me doing housework! Twisted!
Going…back and forth between the washing machine and the clothes dryers to hang up damp clothes from the four loads of laundry I have done today. Phew!
Getting…a lovely message from Badges, letting me know the plans for her leaving drinks (part one) on Friday.
Thinking…that today was in some ways like being on one of those trash talk shows, where teenage girls are adamant they want a baby so are given a lifelike doll to look after that cries, etc. to put them off, except I was in the version where I think being a housewife would be an easier existence (anything to get out of my current job boredom) and am proved wrong by the sheer tedium of having to wash, hang out and fold laundry all day.
Wondering…why on earth I have hung onto so much stuff that I don't use for way too long. Being brought up by parents who had austere childhoods can help teach you not to waste, but also teaches you how to hoard. No more, I tell you! This cycle will be broken! Unless it can be reused, recycled, or kept 'just in case' - LOL!
Giving…my face a good old scrub.
Seeing…just how many pairs of shoes I own and seeing how much space they take up when all boxed up. Not quite Imelda Marcos status yet, but that isn't an ambition!
Doing…some thinking on exactly where everything is going to go once I have sorted out what I am keeping.
Listening to…my iPod on random again and this time singing along quite loudly when no-one was home.
Watching…a bit of Maury again. It's bad, I know, like a junk food addiction. But I shall be watching The Apprentice in approximately 30 minutes and will no doubt be cringing at the candidates embarrassing themselves while attempting to speak French, as they go to Paris to try and sell stuff!
