1. Why does the weekend go so quickly, while the week likes to drag its feet?
2. Being a Christian means trying to see the world (and every individual in it) in the same compassionate way that Jesus would (and does) see the world. Not easy without His help!
3. Thank you for your wonderful company throughout this past year. You know who you are!
4. Christmas is my favorite holiday because it's the only one we really have here where everything shuts down and everyone is spending time with their families.
5. I am SO ready for the 3 weeks I have booked as leave over Christmas. Hurry up, already!
6. We could all be better people if we make up our minds to be.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a moment's rest before dinner and then singing practice with Mum and Big Sis, tomorrow my plans include presenting music day at church (which I fear will drain most of my energy) and then having another singing practice with Claire, the pianist and Sunday, I want to do the song 'O Holy Night' justice as we record our trio rendition of it for our church charity Christmas CD!
