Favourite Descriptions #2: Laid-Back

In my favourite description/definition of the week, Gavin Brown from London's Metro newspaper today described Chris Gayle - West Indies cricket captain - as "a man so laid back deckchairs tend to sit on him." Classic. Made me laugh out loud on the train.

Oh, that was great.
Actually reminded of Mrs. Batchelor, who once said to me "If you were any more laid back you'd be horizontal!" I can't remember why she said it but it's been more than 10 years and I still remember it.

I love these random sayings. Oh man, Mrs. Batchelor, that takes me back! It's funny how these observations others make of us can really stay with us over time.
