Wish List

*Sigh* So many pretty things out there, not enough money to buy them with. I've decided to be a bit self-indulgent and make a wish list, mainly because it seems to slightly satisfy the urge (or at least keep it at bay) to buy all of these things. Lots of very cool stuff out there at the mo that I have my eye on, some are useful and actually somewhat necessary, others are completely frivolous eye candy or entertainment.

Clarks 'Maddie Ann' Ebony Aviator boots - size 4

Annoyingly, Clarks do a size 4.5 in some of their shoes, which would probably be perfect for me, but sadly they only have a 4 or a 5 in this style, and I'm guessing a 4 would be best. Practical, but still stylish and on trend, they look cosy but sturdy, are in a nice deep brown which I like and, like all Clarks shoes, are made for comfort and durability rather than beauty alone.

Doctor Who - Complete Series 5 DVD box set

I think I only caught the Christmas special which introduced us to the new Doctor (played by Matt Smith) and I then missed the rest of the series. I like his version of the Doctor and his assistant Amy is cool, too. It's Doctor Who, what's not to like??

The Mentalist - DVD box set, any series

Have only recently got into The Mentalist and am now pretty much up to speed with from watching it online, but it's great comfort telly, just like Monk.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - DVD box set series 9 or 10

I first got into CSI:NY through Lolly, but now the original CSI (Las Vegas) is my favourite. Was sad to see Grissom (one of my weird TV crushes) go, but Dr. Langston (Lawrence Fishburne's character) is quite good too. I don't think I've seen any of series 10, so am excited to catch up.

Robyn - 'Body Talk' CD album
I love Robyn. She does sassy, catchy, fierce dancy electronic pop. She didn't release an album for a couple of years, then released three in short succession. The final album has the best of the first two as well as some tracks the others don't, but I sort of want the individual albums (Pt 1 & Pt 2) too because I've heard them and think they are ace. So maybe all three?!

Karrimor walking boots

They don't have to be Karrimor necessarily, but they always seem to have good deals on. I've needed some proper walking boots for ages. Not only would they be very handy in the snow we've had of late, but they would also be great for when we hopefully go hiking in Lancashire and Yorkshire again soon.

Leather Bag with lots of zip pockets

(left) ASOS PREMIUM Washed Leather Zip Pocket Holdall

I am constantly in search of the perfect bag for me and still haven't found it. I like one with lots of room, as I tend to carry things 'just in case' and also prefer to have everything together rather than carrying two or three different bags (which tends to happen if I try and carry a smaller one). I like leather bags and also like lots of compartments (for my phone, oyster card and iPod Touch, as well as easy access to things like keys, money, lip balm, etc. I also like bags which have a cross-body strap as well as shoulder straps. Here are a couple I found on asos.com - pricey, but look like they might be close to what I'm looking for.

Smoky Quartz and Marcasite silver ring from Past Times

I've been trying to buy a smoky quartz ring for a while now. At first I wanted one with a huge chunky stone, but this rather more delicate one caught my eye. I want it for my right hand but am torn between sizes M or O: M for the ring finger, O for the middle finger. Not sure which one I'd prefer yet.

Tiny Gold Leaf pendant necklace by Edor on Etsy.com

I've been thinking of getting a really delicate gold (or goldtone at least) necklace on and off for some time. I wanted something very inconspicuous but pretty. I like the leaf design at the moment and this is the tiniest but prettiest one I could find.

Phillips Sonicare toothbrush

My old one died and is archaic now anyway. I really need to look after my teeth and gums properly and miss the extra-clean feeling I used to get from using a sonic toothbrush. This one is waaaay more slimline than my old one, has fancier controls and options than my old one, has a carry case and is currently on offer for a very reasonable price in Boots (so I can get Advantage Card points too, perfect!)

Live by Jennifer Lopez perfume

This is my current day perfume of choice, but I ran out of it several months ago and have been using other J-Lo varieties since (including the supply of Miami Glow that the fabulous Lolly Lil gifted me with last Christmas). But I miss having the option of wearing this one and need to stock up on a big 100ml bottle.
