You want to build a road. There is a boulder in front of you.
You make the plans for your road and take the necessary steps to get those plans moving. You decide where you want the road to go: the direction, the route, the ultimate or hoped-for destination.
You consider which materials you want to use for the road - how you wish the road to look, the cost, its durability and aesthetic qualities.
You also assess the kind of tools of you will need to use, the method of construction you will employ, the logistics of getting the road built.
You imagine the journey you will embark on, the endless possibilities available to you, the potential this road has to lead you to all the wondrous places you've always wanted to go to. You can't wait to get there.
Question: shouldn't you move the boulder out of the way first?

Yes. :-)
Asap, too, if you're really interested in that destination.
'Course you can always stay put with those really cool plans; up to you really... Cuppa tea, lol?
Always time for a cuppa tea.
Well some would say the journey is more important than the destination. But there is always time for a cuppa while one figures it out - it's what any good builder would do. :o)
